On the planes and the ship

Dear friends and family,
I had a great time on the plane (when I was with Carly I had the most fun! Haha)

Here is a picture of Carly and I with our sleepers ( I don’t know what they are called, I just call them sleepers!)Speaking of planes, I almost got a German accent from the flight attendants on the flight to Germany! On our last connection we landed in Cotonou, Benin. There was only a tiny baggage claim and lots and lots of people, and it took us over an hour to claim our 8 bags. Then our hosts picked us up in their Mercy Ships truck with us and all our bags. (It was a tight fit!!) Then we stayed at their house for two days and nights. During those two day they took us to a really cool place called “Bab’s Dock” Here is a picture of Bab’s dock. Then the Palmers (our hosts) took us to the Africa Mercy our ship on Sunday afternoon, to get us settled. And later that night, we went to the monthly family church service. And now I am in my cabin writing this post, and so far that’s our journey to Africa!
